Sofia Angels Ventures – Exit Press Release
We at Sofia Angels Ventures (SAV), a €13M venture fund backed up by EIF for angel and private co-investment, headquartered in Sofia, are delighted to announce our first successful exit from a portfolio company. The initial investment was made in March 2023 in Digicust GmbH, an Austrian-based start-up, focused at revolutionizing the customs declaration process.
The company’s flagship product, Dexter IDP, is a virtual customs robot designed to digitalize and automate the entire customs documentation process seamlessly. Leveraging existing IT infrastructures, Dexter IDP has proven its efficiency by handling thousands of customs declarations daily at a fraction of the cost, without requiring modifications to clients’ IT systems.
In 2023, Digicust GmbH attracted a large strategic investor and partner, who shares the Company’s vision for the future. We at SAV are happy we are leaving the Company in those new hands, and are sure that they are the perfect match to achieve success sooner, rather than later.
The successful exit from Digicust GmbH marks a milestone for Sofia Angels Ventures. Reflecting on this success, we remain dedicated to supporting innovative ventures.
